Introduction
Welcome to the summer holiday activities page for last year's Key stage 3 students. This page is for
students who are currently year 7, 8 or 9.
There are also some links for students who are about to start studying in Post 16 as well.
All of the things on this page are optional; we
just thought that you might want some things to do over the holidays.
There are activities from each one of your subjects - and also some general topics,
projects and challenges as well!
Take care and see you all soon

Other Activities
As well as your subject based activities, we have some other tasks we feel you might like to have a look at to keep you entertained and challenged over the summer!
Personal Project
One of the things that you could do is to complete a personal project, download our guide by clicking the title above.
Your project could be about virtually anything you wish - and students who do complete this will be in with the chance to
earn rewards in the new school year!
Another thing you can do is to read.
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn the more places you’ll go.”
- Dr Seuss
Here are some resources to get you started if you don’t have a good book:
As a parent how can you help your child with reading, the education endowment foundation has guides and
tips for supporting reading at home
as well as how to help encourage your child to
read with confidence
Or you could use the summer to use the time to become more cultured? See how many of the
100 cultural activities you can do!
