To celebrate the European Day of Languages (26th September 2018) the Modern Foreign Languages and Art departments ran a joint competition inspired by European culture, languages and art.



To celebrate the European Day of Languages (26th September 2018) the Modern Foreign Languages and Art departments ran a joint competition inspired by European culture, languages and art.

Key Stage 3 students produced a range of imaginative entries, including sketches, paintings, T-shirts, models and videos. The winners and runners up are now on display by the entrance to Art and MFL. The competition was fierce with over 200 entries! Well done to all students who won bronze, silver and gold awards.

Congratulations to our overall winners who received a gold award and a prize:

  • 1st place - Olivia Walker (Year 9) Poster
  • 2nd place - Reuben Green (Year 8) Cake
  • 3rd place - Isaac Gilbert (Year 8) T-shirt
