Gabrielle Leighton of Year 8 is to be congratulated on a culinary success during the summer break.

She entered Middlesbrough’s Museum of Modern Art competition to create a new food treat.  Of the many entries in the ‘Design a mima sandwich’ contest, Gabrielle’s was the overall winner and she will be presented with her prize on 22 September. Her winning creation will also be made by mima’s Café Prego where visitors will be able to try it for themselves and see her actual design framed and exhibited in Café Prego.
