The Year 7 boys came up against a strong St Aidans side who have scored 22 goals in the previous 4 rounds. Macmillan had the better of the first half and found a number of chances from some outstanding long balls from Oliver Samuels to Ajay Matthews. Ajay Matthews converted two of these chances and Macmillan led at half time 2-1. The second half saw St Aidans come on stronger, Macmillan were caught on the break a couple of times to trail 3-2. There was a late rally from the Macmillan team and they created more chances like in the first half but could not grab and equaliser before the final whistle.
