Vocational Experiences. These are week long activities designed to extend the curriculum in novel ways. They give students the chance to spend extended periods of time working on a project that they enjoy and to achieve a depth not possible in hour long lessons. Macmillan has a vocational second specialism and one of the aims of the CaVEs is to develop the skills that employers want. These include problem solving, team work and working independently.
