Year 7 students enjoyed their fantastic Outward Bound experience at Howtown in the Lake District last week. As with the first week students have been undertaking a wide range of adventurous activities working together to develop their teamwork and leadership skills.

The students arrived on Monday and were greeted with bright blue skies and crisp weather for the second week of their Outward Bound experience. So far students have been participating in a great range of outdoor activities including a canoeing adventure on Ullswater, gorge walking, exploring the Aira Force waterfall and surrounding hills and mountains, the infamous jog and dip and an overnight camping adventure.

Miss House, who is leading the visit, has reported back that everyone is having a fantastic time, and the weather has certainly been chillier compared to the unusually mild weather of last week.
