On Friday 30 September Post 16 students and staff contributed to the World's Biggest Coffee Morning, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

On Friday 30 September Post 16 students and staff contributed to the World's Biggest Coffee Morning, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. As various cakes, cookies, brownies and pastries were presented, it was clear that this was going to be a very successful, very indulgent morning!

Mr Fraser, Mrs Coning and Miss Daffurn had the enviable task of judging the competition, where a prize for the best student bake and best staff bake was decided. Miss Welford managed to delight our judges with her white chocolate brownies. The winner of the Post 16 student bake was Grace Lilley with her utterly delicious lemon meringue cupcakes. Obviously Grace was absolutely delighted and will no doubt treat her friends to some of her wonderful creations at university next year.

The grand total raised was £262.00 which is a fantastic effort. This will be sent to Macmillan Cancer Care with our gratitude.
