It was with great pride that the Year 10 Enterprise group presented the international children's charity, COCO, with a cheque for £2,000. These funds were the culmination of ticket events within the academy as well as the enterprise project delivered by this innovative group.

In the conception stage of this now successful charity initiative, students had manged to win funds from an entrepreneurial competition to invest in an enterprise idea. This is how these students were able to purchase an industrial orange juicer and develop their freshly squeezed orange juice business, 'Juice Factory: Orange you glad you helped?'.

Mr Wilson-Stonestreet, Enterprise Coordinator, expressed his admiration for this group's achievement: "They have worked so hard to implement a whole school charity initiative as well as running an independent business for a whole term. The learning experiences that can be drawn from such an achievement are immeasurable."

We look forward to the Enterprise groups efforts for next year's fund raising!
