We were delighted to welcome one of the academy's former teachers Mr David Telfer to perform his own one man play 'Notes from the Front' for an audience of students and staff.

The play, which includes a mixture of prose, poetry and music, focuses on what makes a man a soldier and why they go to war. It explores the experiences of ordinary men in extraordinary places doing extraordinary things and has been described as, 'a fitting celebration of those who gave their lives and commemoration of a global event that defined a generation'.
