A group of Year 9 students experienced an afternoon of tea, sandwiches and cakes to celebrate their fantastic achievement of earning the Gold Macmillan Academy Baccalaureate.

These students have gained the most points overall in the five sections: Academic, Enrichment, Project, Service and Enterprise demonstrating that they have shown the commitment and enthusiasm to not only their studies but also their wider curriculum.

Not only did the students get to experience afternoon tea at Crathorne Hall, they were also in competition through a Great British Bake Off style napkin folding competition. This involved very strict judging and analysis so very well done to our two runners up and the finalist.

Miss Baker, KS3 Baccalaureate co-ordinator, said that "it was a truly fantastic event to share with the students to reward every single one of them for all their achievement and hard work".
