On Monday 2nd March, the academy's under 12s girls' football team competed in the ESFA National Finals in Derby. They collectively put in an impressive performance, winning their group stage convincingly and going through to the semi-finals. Despite eventually being beaten 2-0 by a strong opposing side, the girls can be very proud of their achievements as this is their first defeat of the season, in over twenty games. This recent success makes the team the third best U12s girls' five-a-side team in England.

The girls will now focus on their next challenge, which is the ESFA 9-a-side competition, in which they have already progressed to the second round. We wish them continued success in this competition and look forward to seeing if they can bring home the cup this time. Proud coach Miss Sidgwick will be supporting her team all the way.
