As you may have seen in a previous web post our recent entry into the 'Lights, Camera, Parliament' competition was chosen as the runner up in the Secondary film category.

As a reward for the team's hard work and commitment to the project, they were invited by BBC Breakfast presenter and former Macmillan Student Steph McGovern to the BBC Salford TV studios. In addition to their visit, local MP Andy MacDonald also took time to meet the student council and officially award them with their certificates and commemorative plate.
