On Tuesday 20th May all Year 7 students participated in the 'Race for Life' event in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The event was organised by Year 12 BTEC Sport students

On Tuesday 20th May all Year 7 students participated in the 'Race for Life' event in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The event was organised by Year 12 BTEC Sport students, this involved encouraging Year 7 students to collect sponsorship and design logos they could wear for the race, showing who or what they were running for.

All students wore pink to support the worthy cause.
The day was a huge success with over 240 students and staff taking part in the race. The aim of the day was to raise as much money as possible so that one day we can beat cancer.
