On Thursday 20th March every young person in Middlesbrough (aged 11-18) will get the chance to vote in the Youth Parliament elections. Four candidates from across the town are standing in the election to attempt to gain the position of Member of Youth Parliament (MYP). Trib Gosain from our Year 11 is campaigning to be Middlesbrough's local representative. Trib has created a manifesto and last week presented this at the Town Hall and took part in a debate about his policies. Trib has also created a poster campaign and has shared his ideas with every student at the academy. We wish Trib all the best as Election Day draws near.
