Staff and students enjoyed a coffee morning organised and ran by Post 16 Health and Social Care students in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Click to read a report and see pictures from the event.

Post 16 students worked extremely hard to make the charity coffee morning last week a real success.

Preparations started a month ago in a real team effort, which delivered donated produce, home baking and raffle prizes. A range of delicious treats attracted many customers who in turn produced a sizeable donation for Macmillan Cancer Support. This charity helps those who suffer from cancer and supports loved ones; it is very dear to the members of the Health and Social Care department.

Grateful thanks are extended to all who contributed in time and/or money to the event.
