In the first two weeks of July all students have been involved in the "Bookend Curriculum" This has been designed to "prop up" the end of the year's normal academic curriculum.

In the first two weeks of July all students have been involved in the "Bookend Curriculum" This has been designed to "prop up" the end of the year's normal academic curriculum. It encourages the students to think beyond the classroom walls and to develop skills that they will need when they leave the academy and enter the world of work. It has been designed around exciting activities, providing students with experiences they would not normally receive in a school environment.

Year 9 have spent the time in project based learning activities, centred on Enterprise in the first week and CaVEs (Cultural & Vocational Activity) in the second week.
