During Decisions Week the students looked at some of the responsible choices they need to make as citizens in the 21st Century. They were also given the chance to start work for the prestigious "John Muir" Award.

During the Year 8 Decisions Week the students looked at some of the responsible choices they need to make as citizens in the 21st Century. They were also given the chance to start work for the prestigious "John Muir" Award

The aims of the John Muir Award are to encourage students of all backgrounds to discover, enjoy and care for the planet's wild places and to reduce barriers to engagement with wild places.

In order to achieve the John Muir Award students undertook a variety of activities that involved the following four challenges:

• Discovering a wild place
• Exploring it
• Doing something to conserve it
• Sharing their experiences
