Friday 10th May saw the annual Year 11 Leavers' Ball take place at the Academy for the Class of 2013.

The students arrived in all their finery, in a vast array of different modes of transport for the evening's celebrations.

On entering the venue the students were bowled over by the stunning 1920's themed design and delighted by the entertainment which ranged from footage of their first day at the Academy back in 2008 to performances from their most talented peers.

A The evening was truly spectacular and created memories that the students will no doubt treasure for many years to come.
