Thursday 7th March 2013 saw the Annual Year 11 Fashion Show take place, a showcase of fashion and entertainment from the year group to raise funds for the upcoming Leavers' Ball.

Thursday 7th March 2013 saw the Annual Year 11 Fashion Show take place, a showcase of fashion and entertainment from the year group to raise funds for the upcoming Leavers' Ball. Unlike previous years, Year 11 did much of the organisation themselves and they put on what could best be described as a fantastic event. From ticket sales, promoting the event in assemblies, sourcing raffle prizes, auditioning for models and entertainers and running much of the evening on the night, they played a huge part in making it the success it was,

The Academy received support as always from our suppliers, Joi, Destiny, Kiwi and Perfect Partners who provided the clothing in the Formal and Partywear sections but our own students provided clothing for the Asianwear section. Entertainment was provided by the Year 11 BTEC Dance group who performed two pieces entitled Toy Soldier and Bollywood, Cameron McArthur, singing Jamie Cullum, Zohaib Hussain showcasing his bodypopping routine, Patrick Laville putting on a magic show and finally Maria Azam and Millie Smith performing Stay by Rihanna.
