On Wednesday 10 October Macmillan Academy hosted their Post 16 Open Evening, we were delighted to welcome 147 students from other schools across the Tees Valley

On Wednesday 10 October Macmillan Academy hosted their Post 16 Open Evening. The aim of the event was to provide an opportunity for Year 11 students and their parents/carers to visit the Academy and speak to staff and current students about the provision that is available within Post 16. It was also a chance for visitors to have a look at the facilities that we have on offer.

The event was very well attended and we were delighted to welcome 147 students from other schools across the Tees Valley. The feedback from the evening was very positive from students, a current Macmillan student said 'It looks like the best option for me by a long way' and a new parent to the Academy was very complimentary about the evening' 'thank you for the interesting and valuable information, staff were very friendly.'
