Twenty-three students experienced an afternoon of tea, sandwiches and cakes to celebrate their fantastic achievement of earning the Gold Macmillan Academy Baccalaureate.

These students have gained the most points overall in the five sections: Academic, Enrichment, Project, Service and Enterprise demonstrating that they have shown the commitment and enthusiasm to not only their studies but also their wider curriculum.

Not only did the students get to experience afternoon tea at Crathorne Hall, they were also provided with some entertainment in the form of magic from one of our award winners and the students even attempted some napkin folding and silver service.

Joseph Godwin, our top Baccalaureate point scorer this year, commented that "it really was a great experience".

Miss Baker, KS3 Baccalaureate co-ordinator, said that "it was a truly fantastic event to share with the students to reward all their achievement and hard work".
