Students were using the brand new set of ipads to read all about Shakespeare's Macbeth. They read the online text and searched for information on the themes and characters in the play using the tablets to help them find out interesting and educational information.

It was a new experience for the students, who are more used to reading the play using the textbooks in their classrooms and they were very enthusiastic about using the ipads. One student explained: "We much preferred using the ipads as we were able to highlight individual words to check what they mean and we could highlight our parts once we had our characters."

The students have now asked to have them every time they read Shakespeare as they enjoyed the interactive text and being able to find information immediately using the touch screens.
