Thursday 23 February saw the first of a series of special events on the calendar for Year 11. The students had been rehearsing and preparing for the much anticipated annual Fashion Show, a key event for Year 11 students which helps raise funds for the Leavers' Ball in May.

The evening began with an incredible tutor performance of Party Rockers by LMFAO, with the Year 11 tutors all involved in a spectacular dance performance. This was followed by a number of Year 11 students taking to the catwalk to model fantastic garments from three categories; formal, party wear and asian-wear.

The audience were entertained by a number of singers from the year group during the course of the evening with Lucy Jeff, Jessica Dawson and Bobby-Leigh Howard displaying their excellent vocal talents, along with Mrs Richardson, a Year 11 tutor. There was also a beautiful dance interpretation by Issy Milnes, Kennedy Cassy and Alex Ramsden who were accompanied by the lovely voice of Jade Roberts.

The evening came to a fantastic finale which culminated in group performances of Grease, Olly Murs and Wrong Direction which brought the house down and had the audience thoroughly entertained. Overall, the evening was a huge success and the students involved were a real credit to the Year group.
