Last night saw the return of an old favourite - the Post 16 Christmas Quiz.

Over 100 students and staff took part in the keenly contested quiz, which included music, general knowledge and Christmas-themed rounds. The winning team was, in fact, 'The Winning Team' - Hannah Kirkup, Stephanie Thomas and Scott Rogers were gamely 'assisted' by Miss Wilkinson, Mrs Turner and Mrs Hill.

The teams enjoyed a fantastic buffet and enjoyed the entertainment which was provided by vocalist Mosin Ali and his group Sometime Tomorrow and Jack Ravenscroft with his band, Junque. Year 13 student Umran Shelmani said, 'The whole night was very enjoyable with a great atmosphere and the music was an excellent addition!'

A Post 16 Easter Quiz is already being planned.
