Year 10 students enjoyed a day-long 'Health Day' on Thursday 16th June, which promoted healthier lifestyles and taught students about health and physical well-being.
Year 10 students enjoyed a special day-long 'Health Day' programme on Thursday 16th June, in which they took part in a range of activities designed to promote healthier lifestyles and teach students about health and physical well-being.
Students were given the opportunity to select sessions ranging from the more serious, including; sex and drugs education, cancer awareness, healthy eating and self defence, to
more fun and active sessions, such as; archery, zumba, cycling and an outdoor learning challenge.
Students were overwhelmingly positive about their experiences with most rating their sessions either 'excellent' or 'good', describing the day as both 'fun' and 'informative'.
