Popular novelist Bali Rai visited the Academy on Tuesday 8 March to meet students and deliver workshops.

Bali has written many books, about teenage lives in multicultural, inner-city Britain including "(Un)arranged Marriage", "Rani And Sukh" (a set book for English GCSE) and "The Last Taboo".

During his visit Bali delivered workshops about "Rani and Sukh" to Year 10 English classes and during lunch-time he met students in the library. For more information about Bali Rai and his books visit his website.
