Thanks to all the students and staff at the academy for supporting Comic Relief and helping us to raise an impressive £2,010!

On Friday 18th, Macmillan students and staff paid a pound to come to school in 'the wrong trousers', with only half their usual uniform and whatever took their fancy on the other half! Many wore comic relief t-shirts or red to match their red noses, whilst others went for wackier options!

In addition, biscuits were sold at break and lunch times and collection buckets went round the building throughout the day.

Comic Relief cash is hard at work supporting people and communities in real need - both across the UK and the world's poorest countries. Thanks to all of you who contributed to this worthy cause.
