The academy's Awards Evening, celebrating the achievements of our students, took place on the 1st March in Middlesbrough Town Hall.
Our annual Awards Evening was held on Tuesday 1st March at Middlesbrough Town Hall. It was a very special occasion in which we celebrated our students' successes over the past academic year.
With a blend of live entertainment and videos showing a range of experiences, along with the presentation of awards, the event showcased some of our most talented individuals and rewarded the efforts and achievements of a large number of students from Year 7 to Year 13.
We were delighted to welcome two former students as our guests of honour at the ceremony; Dr N Latif and Miss K Murray, who each gave inspirational speeches and insights into very different careers. Dr Latif spoke of her career in Medicine, the importance of higher education and her work as a GP, whilst Miss Murray spoke of her role as a presenter for 'Real Madrid TV' and the steps she took along the way to help her get her dream job.
Well done to all the students and thank you to our guests and all the staff involved in planning and running this successful and memorable event.
