Over 100 Year 9 students are embarking on their Bronze DofE expedition over the next two weeks. We took time to catch up with a few groups this week as they set of on their two-day expedition.

All those we caught up with showed perseverance and determination with the view to completing their Bronze DofE expedition.??They will navigate a 15-mile route around the North Yorkshire moors, carrying all the equipment they need including tents and food. Preparation for this event has seen them carry out a number of on-site and planning and training activities including map reading skills, basic first aid, campsite building and food preparation, all part of expedition planning.
