The Library is continuing its quest to inspire, engage and welcome readers of all ages and this term will be continuing with its programme of events to promote reading.

The Library at the heart of our academy is continuing its quest to inspire, engage and welcome readers of all ages and this term will be continuing with its successful programme of events to promote reading.

Think you've seen all that's on offer in the Library? Think again! The start of a new term also means new books and there are lots of great new titles to choose from to suit all tastes. If you loved the Twilight Saga then come and browse our fab new selection of dark romance novels currently on display.

Library staff are particularly keen to welcome Year Seven students and over the coming weeks those of you who have recently joined the academy can look forward to a series of library skills lessons. These lessons will ensure that you can access information independently and be able to discover books that you will enjoy reading. In addition, each of you will receive a free book this term from the national book charity "The BookTrust", and you'll be able to make your choice from a selection of nineteen exciting titles.
