Year 9 students recently took part in the hugely succesful 'Enterprise Week', a programme designed to develop enterprising skills in a fun and exciting way whilst encountering a range of different challenges. The project was designed to encourage students to develop skills in collaboration, risk-taking, creativity, a can-do attitude, innovation, problem-solving, reflection and evaluation.

The challenges students undertook varied from an Olympic Games project to a visit to East Barnby Outdoor Centre. Students chose topics from Fashion Design, Regeneration, Fair Trade, Dragon's Den, Event Management, Marketing a Band, Stadium Build and Script and Film. They even took part in a fast-paced and exciting Stock Market Challenge where they tried their luck at being stock market traders for the day!

Both the staff and the students worked really hard and it was an excellent week that we can all be very proud of.
