On Tuesday February 2nd Year 7 students experienced a performance by the Lacey Theatre Company. This was linked with the RS syllabus for this term.

The performance was delivered as a one woman show that introduced Jesus' ancestors such as Adam, Abraham, Moses and David before exploring Jesus' visit to the Temple as a young boy, his teachings and miracles.

Elin, who delivered the performance, impressed year 7 with her vast repertoire of different dialects, characters and ability to tell stories.
She gave an amusing caricature of Abraham as a great, great grandfather as well as portraying David with a Welsh accent (because he came from the valley) before being Peter's mother in law sharing how he had healed her of a fever.

Elin also portrayed Jesus' miracle of turning water into wine by telling the story as a modern day party goer.
