2009 marks a significant milestone in the history of our school as it is twenty years since our doors first opened to students in Middlesbrough. A special edition of 'In Touch' has been produced to pay tribute to those who have contributed to the Academy's success and to review the last academic year, giving a flavour of the many different events and activities students have been involved in and highlighting our key areas of development.

Many members of staff have contributed, offering insight into their own areas of focus or expertise, ensuring that there is a wide range of interesting features and interviews.

The publication is available to all staff and parents. Copies are available in the Staff Room and at Reception.

As part of the celebration, students at the Academy interviewed some of the remaining staff who were present at the school at its inception.
