The Academy is delighted to welcome its new intake of Year 7 students. Their first day went very well and they can look forward to a busy but enjoyable week.

We are delighted to welcome our new intake of Year 7 students at the Academy. They have made excellent first impressions with the staff who have taught them and seen them around the Academy.

After an early assembly lead by Head of Year Mrs Luck, the students got to spend the first two periods getting to know each other and their tutor. They received their planners and timetables, had a tour of the Academy and selected their enrichments, before picking up their normal lessons from period 3.

It was great to see the effort that students had put into their induction booklets over the holidays and many of the students were excited to be able to show off their fabulous shoe creations for Art and Design.

We hope that all new students continue to have a happy and enjoyable experience over the coming weeks as they settle in with us.
