A group of Year 8 students have received their own copies of the novel 'Hide and Seek' by Catherine MacPhail, who was our visiting author last year.

A group of Year 8 students have received their own copies of the children's novel 'Hide and Seek' by Catherine MacPhail, who was our visiting author last year.

The students had been given a draft of the novel by publishers Barrington Stoke to edit and return and are acknowledged with thanks for their comments in the published novel.

All the students thoroughly enjoyed their roles as 'editorial consultants', which was organised for them by 'Rainbow Readers' teacher Miss Marshall. The novel is highly recommended to other young readers and is now available from the academy Library.
