At the beginning of term a group of Year 10 students went to Wensleydale to see for themselves the secrets of the Forbidden Corner. Armed with sketch books and pencils they explored the site and returned at the end of a busy day with a commendable collection of drawings, colour suggestions and ideas for future work.

Students enjoying their visitA week later another group made the long journey to Alnwick Castle in Northumberland, once home to the famous Harry Hotspur of Shakespeare fame, to see the progress being made on the Duchess of Northumberland's much publicised and royally supported garden. Everyone who went found it a truly stimulating outing which provided them with a tremendous amount of stimulus for upcoming project work.
