The Schools' Enterprise Education Network recently commissioned Macmillan Academy to oversee and produce a CDrom exemplifying ways of embedding enterprise teaching and learning into the curriculum. Our role saw members of the studio team visit a number of other academies from West London and Westminster to Manchester, Northampton and Samworth, to film and edit each element that would finally make up the resource.

The CD-rom showcases the projects that have been undertaken in each academy in relation to Enterprise, and each programme uses student presenters to give an overview of their own academy and to guide the viewer through their project. The resource is intended to be relevant to subject leaders in all schools and after viewing the resources, it is hoped that schools will adapt and use the ideas illustrated.

We were credited in the publication as follows "The development and creation of the CDrom, funded by DCSF, was lead and co-ordinated by Macmillan Academy in Middlesbrough, whose studio team did most of the filming and editing" . . . ."

We would like to thanks all staff and students at all of the featured academies, and in particular we thank Macmillan Academy in Middlesbrough for coordinating the production of this resource"
