9 Year 10 students took on the challenge of returning to Ullswater to complete an Outward Bound course designed to inspire and raise motivation ready for the start of their GCSE courses.

9 Year 10 students took on the challenge of returning to Ullswater to complete an Outward Bound course designed to inspire and raise motivation ready for the start of their GCSE courses. As well as 10km expeditions, students spent a night under the stars and took part in activities ranging from traversing cliffs to gorge-walking.

After a fun-filled week, the weary students returned to the Academy with stories of new friendships and the challenges they faced and desperate to return again next year…
