In the week beginning 30th June, all Year 9 students took part in Enterprise week. The aim of the Enterprise week was to develop the critical skills; collaboration, problem solving, decision making, communication, creativity, risk taking and innovation. The first day was an 'introduction to enterprise', run by Middlesbrough Football Club Enterprise Academy. It was a full day with lots of challenges, including a number of fun team challenges and games. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, students had to choose two options from a list of 7 areas; regeneration, tourism, music, personal economics, fashion, film and outdoor learning, plus one day at MFC in their Enterprise Academy.

The final day involved a highly interactive and exciting stock market challenge, using a computer programme which simulates a stock market with the students acting as city traders to buy and sell shares, and an afternoon to reflect on the week's learning experiences.

A big thank you to Miss. Hill for all of her hard work in organising the week.
