The Rugby Academy Dinner was held on Friday 13th June here at the Academy. There were about 30 staff, students and ex-students celebrating the successes of the year.

The Rugby Academy Dinner was held on Friday 13th June here at the Academy.  There were about 30 staff, students and ex-students celebrating the successes of the year.  Following a three-course dinner, Mr Shaun Richardson, Assistant Coach made the presentations.

There were three different awards; ‘Coaches’ Player of the Year’ went to Tom Simon, ‘Players’ Player of the Year’ went to Stephen Johnston, and ‘Outstanding Contribution’ went to James Watson, who plays for the Newcastle Falcons development squad and has helped the coaches in a lot of the sessions, sharing his experience and skills.

The night wouldn’t have been the same without the Kangaroo boxing organised by Mr Stanton, which provided plenty of laughs!
