A camera has been installed in the Eco-garden bird box to provide a live resource for students at the Academy to get a chance to see nature close-up.  Staff and students suspected that chicks had arrived as they had heard noises from the bird box and had seen adult birds flying in and out with food.  The webcam provided the proof and thanks to the technical expertise of Mr Bede and Mr Seaman, who worked quickly to bring us this excellent opportunity, we can all witness the rapid growth of 8 birds in the nest.

These chicks go from egg to fully grown in under four weeks so they won’t be with us for much longer.  Enjoy watching them on this site while you can!

Update:  The Birds have now flown the nest!
