During the afternoon, students were fortunate enough to be invited to attend the part of the ‘Cleveland Institute of Engineers Annual Conference’, held in the Centuria Building at Teesside University, where they listened to the Keynote speaker, Dr P Books, Environment Director of Corus, talk about ‘Climate Change –threats and opportunities’.  Mr Mogie was impressed by the attentiveness and engagement of the students.

The final part of the visit involved a challenge from Corus, Europe’s second largest steel company, in which the students had to design a poster to promote the recycling of steel.
