Well done to Year 7 students who are sponsoring a child in Ethiopia.

 

Following a Year 7 assembly to raise awareness about poverty in the developing world, with the support of Mrs. Barrett and tutors, Year 7 students have raised £218 to sponsor 12 year old Hailemaraim Endale from Gey in Ethiopia. 

 

The sponsorship, organized through the charity ‘World Vision’ will support Hailemariam and his whole community for a year by helping them gain the food, clean water, education and healthcare they desperately need. 

 

Through the scheme, students will receive regular letters and photographs which will help them to see the difference their support makes.
