The under-16 girls' hockey team had a great win yesterday afternoon when they played Queen Katherine's School, Cumbria.

The under-16 girls' hockey team had a great win yesterday afternoon when they played Queen Katherine's School, Cumbria.  The score was 0-0 after full-time but after a nail-biting penalty shoot-out, Macmillan won 3-2 !

The girls were all a credit to the Academy and they deserved their victory.  They now play St. Aidan's County High School, Cumbria (away) in the 2nd round.  

The scorers were Becki Boyle, Katie West and Rachel Bollands.  Well done to the team!
