Today a very special assembly was held for our incredible Year 11 students.

The government's announcement that schools will close and exams will no longer go ahead has been a great shock to us all. We wanted to show our Year 11 students that despite this unprecedented situation, we are so very proud of them and all they have achieved throughout their time at Macmillan.

They have had some very memorable moments and experiences throughout the years and we felt it was important to look back at their journey together in celebration.

Our commitment to our students will never change and we will be doing all we can to make sure that their hard work of the past two years is properly rewarded and they can progress to the next stage of their lives.

We look forward to warmly welcoming back the vast majority of students as they enter Post 16 to continue their academic studies when the academy re-opens and we will endeavour to give them the bigger opportunities for celebration of their 5 years with us when the time is right.
