This year's Remembrance Day broadcast on Friday 9 November follows a day in the lives of two young men. One is a Year 11 student at the Academy in 2007, the other a young soldier in the trenches of Flanders in 1917.
Both are from Middlesbrough, the lad in the trenches having once worked in the local ironstone mines. The broadcast was written and produced here in the Academy.
