In the week beginning 30th June, all Year 9 students took part in Enterprise week. The aim of the Enterprise week was to develop the critical skills; collaboration, problem solving, decision making, communication, creativity, risk taking and innovation.

A group of Year 9 Citizenship students enjoyed a visit to Beamish open-air museum on Tuesday 10th June. The aim of the visit was to explore the concept of 'Northernness' by celebrating our industrial past.

A camera has been installed in the Eco-garden bird box to provide a live resource for students at the Academy to get a chance to see nature close-up.
